To start off, I just need to say that I hate blogs and never read them. Yet, blogging does have one redeeming quality, practice. Therefore I am writing this blog for myself and not for the two or three people that end up accidentally wasting their life by reading anything I write. To explain, I am merely writing here for the sake of writing a lot, with the intent of hopefully getting better. I plan on posting anything and everything I ever formally write, from school papers(if you steal these I will break your knees) to random articles that I write for Dane101.com. So even if nobody ever reads a single word on this blog -which is highly plausible- I have no doubt that it will still be a resounding success.

For all of you out there that don’t have the extreme privilege of knowing me, then just let me tell you a bit about myself. My drivers license tells me that I am currently 21. But mostly people tell me tell me that I act like I am 13, or 31 based on the day and amount of caffeine in my system. Currently I live right outside of Madison WI, and am pursuing a double major in Economics and Journalism. Other than school I mostly sit around drinking Guinness with friends and pretend to do worthwhile things with my life; like save kittens from trees.
